25 YEARS OF GRANIT
This year we are celebrating are 25-year anniversary. We look back with pride on a busy and successful quarter of a century. From a spare parts dealer for agricultural machinery in Germany to a globally active service company for the heavy duty sector.
In the meantime, GRANIT is no longer just about trading in tractor spare parts. Just like us, our range has continued to grow over the years. Today we offer everything from spare parts for agricultural and construction machinery to products for gardening and forestry to workshop equipment. In addition, we always support you where you need it with numerous services.

From our beginnings as a national spare parts dealer for agricultural machinery to a global player in the heavy duty sector.
1923
Master blacksmith Dietrich Fricke founds the company in Heeslingen and moves into the first workshop a year later.
1966
On 1 July 1966 the company moved to its present premises with workshop, spare parts store and office. The new location on the outskirts of Heeslingen facilitates the company's long-term growth.
1972
The business is significantly expanded through the purchase of large quantities of spare parts from the discontinued Hanomag production in Hannover. The trade in spare parts makes FRICKE internationally known.
1996
The successful trade in spare parts leads to the introduction of the GRANIT PARTS brand. The Europe-wide spare parts business is being expanded under this name and products are being sold under its own brand. In order to further advance the business, the construction of new warehouses begins in Heeslingen.
2001
GRANIT PARTS establishes the first foreign branches in the Netherlands and Austria. The expansion of GRANIT PARTS now extends to the entire continent. The company comprises 19 national subsidiaries throughout Europe and is now networked worldwide through purchasing offices and good relationships.
2004
The start in e-commerce. The GRANIT webshop goes online. Today, around 96% of orders are placed online by GRANIT.
2007
The establishment of the GRANIT Service Center and the GRANIT Academy expands our range of services.
2007
GRANIT Academy offers specialist dealers and workshop training courses and seminars on practical topics. With it we meet new trends and innovative technologies with specialist knowledge and the constant further development of knowledge.
2008
The GRANIT partner shop is introduced. With it, specialist dealers can make the entire GRANIT range available to their customers in their own online shop.
2012
GRANIT PARTS continues to grow. With the opening of the new logistics centre, the usable hall space in Heeslingen has increased to over 50,000 square meters.
2018
The GRANIT app is available for Android and iOS. The app enables mobile access to the GRANIT webshop with all known functions and other features.
2020
The latest logistics expansion opens in Heeslingen. With immediate effect, GRANIT PARTS has a total of 90,000 square meters of usable hall space. With the new automatic small parts warehouse, we are taking another step towards the future.
2021
The FRICKE Group currently employs 2,977 full-time employees at 66 locations in 25 countries. The latest logistics expansion opens in Heeslingen. With immediate effect, GRANIT PARTS has a total of 90,000 square meters of usable hall space. With the new automatic small parts warehouse, we are taking another step towards the future.
